Decorating a bathroom for children with a cool and colorful theme makes the room a more exciting place and encourages the development of personal hygiene habits at an early age. Parents should choose a bathroom theme that will grow with the family, both by appealing to children of many ages and by making the bathroom gender-neutral for any additional children down the road.

Beach Bathroom

A nautical-themed bathroom appeals to children while it is still appropriate for adults, making it ideal for a kids' bathroom that doubles as a guest bathroom. Start with a simple color palette of white, blue and tan for the large items, such as the shower curtain and towels. Under the Sea
