Tulle Ceiling Ideas

Tulle decorations can transform a standard ceiling into an aesthetically-pleasing work of art. When planning your next wedding or elegant party event, adorn your ceiling with tulle to give your space a kick and create a party ready atmosphere. You have an assortment of ways to place this festive addition on your party room ceiling. Each of these options gives your space a distinctive feel.

Tulle Ceiling Draping Cover

Add a touch of class to your space, or cover up an unattractive event venue ceiling, by creating a tulle ceiling draping cover. To transform your tulle in this fashion, suspend tulle in colors relevant to your party theme from the edges of your room. Drape the tulle every several feet, attaching it to the ceiling using nails or removable adhesive, to create billow tulle loops that stretch across the ceiling, moving from one side of the room to the other. Use tulle in one solid shade to accomplish this task, or instead select tulle in two colors or tulle with a variegated print to add even more excitement to your venue additions.

Tulle Wheel Spokes

Draw attention to a centrally placed light fixture by creating tulle wheel spokes. To create this effect, purchase a large quantity of tulle. Attach your tulle to the upper wall or ceiling in one corner of the room and move in towards the light fixture that you wish to accent. Attach the tulle next to this attractive feature, and loop back out to the side of the room. Continue in this fashion, creating wheel spokes that center around the feature that you wish to highlight.

Tulle Chandelier

If the lighting fixtures in your party location leave a bit to be desired, use tulle to jazz up these light-proving features. To produce this effect, create loops of tulle, securing them with floral wire. Attach these loops to a round loop made of wood or plastic. Continue to add layers of tulle loops, producing an attention-getting and attractive fabric-crafted chandelier to grace your space. Hang your creation under one of your party room lights to give the look of a high-cost light fixture. To make your tulle chandelier even more impressive, select tulle with glittery accents, such as rhinestone dots, to add to the sparkle of your display. When hanging your tulle creation, take care to place it well below your light fixture as tulle is a synthetic fabric that is prone to melting if it comes in contact with a hot light source.
