Get Rid Of Mice In Walls

Mouse

Once mice get into your house, it isn't long before they start making a home in your walls. The problem is that mice reproduce rather quickly and soon they will be venturing out and eating your food. They will leave their droppings all over your house and those droppings can cause disease. It is important that you get rid of the mice in your walls as soon as you know they are there.

Instructions

1. Use mouse traps. The mice will come out of the walls when they want food. Strategically set up the mouse traps near the food supply. Allow the traps to remain unset with food on them for two days to trick the mice in to thinking the traps are safe. Then set the traps and catch the mice.

2. Buy some glue traps from the supermarket and set them up near any openings in your walls. These traps will catch two mice at once. The only downside is that you may hear the mice crying. They will have to die of starvation or stress using this method, unless you catch them and set them free somewhere else.

3. Cut a ramp out of a piece of cardboard and attach it to the end of a metal bowl. Grease the inside of the bowl and put a piece of cheese in the center. The mouse will climb up and jump in, but it won't be able to get out. Place the bowl near an entrance that the mice might come out of.

4. Go to your local animal shelter and pick out a cat that likes to hunt and hasn't been declawed. The cat will get rid of any mice that it finds and will cause the mice to run away and never return.

5. Use mint to deter the mice. They hate the smell of it. You can drip peppermint oil all around your baseboards. When the mice smell it they will run.
