Boyfriend Scrapbook Ideas
Scrapbooks are a common way to store and organize photographs and other keepsakes. It is not uncommon for women to create a scrapbook for their boyfriends showcasing their relationship and the time they have spent together. A romantic scrapbook is a great gift to give for birthdays, anniversaries and Valentine's Day. There are a wide variety of ideas that you can include when making a one-of-a-kind scrapbook for your boyfriend.
Ticket Stubs
When making a scrapbook for your boyfriend, keep any ticket stubs from things you have done together. Movie tickets, concert tickets and amusement park tickets are all potential things to include. If you have photographs of the two of you that were taken the day you got the ticket stubs, include them together on the page. You could also choose to designate one page in the scrapbook and fill it with all of the tickets.
Journal Tags
Journal tags can be incorporated into your page layouts and will give you space to write sentimental messages to your boyfriend. For each page, write down a favorite memory you have of him, a quality you love most about him, or something you are looking forward to in your future together. This will add a romantic and personal touch to each of your pages.
Photobooth Pictures
While digital camera prints are convenient and inexpensive to have printed for your scrapbook, incorporating photo booth pictures into your pages will add a unique and artistic touch. Take several sheets of photo booth pictures with your boyfriend to use in your scrapbook. Write a short message on the bottom of each photo strip telling him how you felt when the photos were taken.
Photo Transfers
While gluing in pictures is the most common method of adding photos to a scrapbook layout, using photo transfers is a more artistic way that will add an antique effect to your pictures of you and your boyfriend. To transfer a photo directly to the paper, print out a black and white photograph from your computer. Use plain white paper to print the photo on. Lay the photo face down on the page and run a transfer marker across the entire back of the picture. The result will be a faded and antique looking photo on your scrapbook page layout.
Printed Scrapbook Paper
When creating your layouts, used printed scrapbook paper instead of solid colored card stock. Choose prints that are love and romance themed, such as hearts, love quotes and the color red.
Love Quote Stickers and Rub Ons
Scrapbook supply stores sell booklets of stickers and rub on transfers that are filled with quotes about love. Place on quote on each page of the scrapbook you are making for your boyfriend. Place the quotes in a different place on each page to ensure every page of the scrapbook it unique yet uniform.
